Feature Requests

Currently, exiting from posting results in losing all progress. It would be helpful to have a feature that allows saving drafts, so I can return to my work without starting over.

The current images of books on the app appear faded and dark, making it difficult to assess the condition of the books. It would be beneficial to enhance the image quality to provide clearer and more accurate representations of the books, ensuring fairness to sellers and buyers.

When searching for books, I often encounter listings for non-book items like stickers and bracelets. While these items are cute, they clutter the app and make it harder to find actual books. Implementing a filter to exclude non-book items from search results would greatly enhance the user experience.

As a buyer, I'd love to see the amount of sales a seller had when considering their shop. As a seller, I'd love to see this too, since not every buyer leaves a review. In example, I've sold 160 books but only have 80 reviews on my account. I think this would benefit newer shops that are trying to gain traction as well.

I would like to have access to a monthly sales report that summarizes what was sold and the profit made. This feature would greatly assist in tracking sales performance and financial planning.

It would be fun to have some kind of Cha-Ching alert 🔔 sound when a book has sold! or a unique sound that identifies PangoBooks.

I find it frustrating that I can't add sold-out books to my wishlist. The purpose of a wishlist is to keep track of items I want, especially those that are currently unavailable. It would be great if I could add sold-out books to my wishlist to easily find them when they become available again.

It would be beneficial to have the option to pin certain books in my store to highlight them. This feature would help in promoting specific titles and attracting more interest from customers.

One of the most useful features I've found in the app is the option to see recently sold listings for a specific title (when applicable) while setting up a listing and choosing a price. It would be awesome to have just a regular spot in the app where we could go and enter or scan an ISBN to see what recently sold copies of a specific title have sold for, rather than it being buried within the listing creator (while still having access to it there, too, though!).

I recommend adding a feature to view other sellers' sold listings on PangoBooks. This feature is available on other platforms like eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari, and it significantly aids sellers by providing insights into pricing and sales trends. Implementing this feature could enhance the selling experience and potentially increase sales on PangoBooks, benefiting both sellers and the platform.
