Or use the standard definitions for book grading like they use on other book sites. Biblio.com has them. It's what I use, then I have to translate that to the jargon that Pango uses.

That approach would create unnecessary confusion - having "good," "very good," "excellent," and "like new" as separate categories is too subjective and overlapping. Sellers would interpret these grades differently, leading to inconsistent listings and potential buyer disputes. The current system with clearer, more objective criteria is much more effective.

There is a definite need for a "Very Good" condition category. The difference between "good" and "excellent" is monumental. As a seller, I have to think whether to undersell my book with "good" or oversell with "excellent." Please add this condition category.
