Vacation Setting w/ Books Still Visible

Instead of removing all the listings when the shop is put on hold, have a vacation setting that just shows the date the books will be off vacation and able to be shipped.

This actually was a feature in the earliest iterations of the app, and you could purchase from shops that were n vacation mode. I don’t know exactly what happened, but I did have the experience of purchasing from a shop that was on vacation… and never seemed to come back. I was very patient, but eventually canceled the order after about six months of radio silence

I don't like the feature of removing my books completely from the marketplace. I'd prefer the buyer be able to see my items, and be able to put them in their cart or shelf and be notified that my shop is currently on hold/vacation mode and no purchases can be made. Or add the option to still purchase, but the buyer would be made aware that any purchases made during this time would be delayed. (example eBay)

This is really important to me. As a buyer, I don't want to miss out on a potential good deal just because the buyer is away, and as a seller, I don't want users to not know my listings exist while I'm gone. Particularly given that some editions are rare/hard to come by.

eBay allows me to mark myself as being "away" until a set date, and also allows me to opt in to let users still purchase books while I'm gone (knowing they won't ship until I get back). This works much better.
