Offer Sales or Free Shipping Up To A Certain Dollar Amount

I want to offer free shipping and do sales, but find myself stopping many times due to losing so much money, as buyers will place a large order and because of the discounts offered, I will make less than 50% of the original price. I would like to offer free shipping up to $15, or 10% off up to $10, etc.

This would be so helpful - I often lose money when I offer free shipping, but also the shipping is so expensive to the buyer - if we could split it 50-50 or do other options it would help buyers and Sellers!
