We gave our category pages a new look to make browsing easier! We also cleaned up the category structure: some overlapping categories were merged, others got renamed, all to make things more intuitive. A few examples:
- Action and Adventure moved into Thrillers & Suspense
- Cooking is now Cookbooks
- Medical, Health & Fitness, and some Body, Mind, & Spirit titles rolled into a new Health & Wellness category
This is live on both app and web.
NEW & IN PROGRESS: Subcategories
This cleanup also sets us up for Subcategories, which let a book show up under more than one heading no matter which category it's filed under. So Romantasy, for example, will eventually pull from both Romance and Fantasy instead of forcing you to pick one. It's a small change that opens up a lot more ways to browse and find your next read.
